Dear Parishioners, This Sunday is the last Sunday of the liturgical year. Today the Church celebrates the Solemnity of Our Lord Jesus Christ, King of the Universe, or Christ the King.
Dear Parishioners, This week we will celebrate Thanksgiving. We have so many blessings to be thankful for as individuals and as a parish. Come and give thanks to the Lord for his many blessings to us at a special Thanksgiving Mass at 9 am this Thursday, Nov. 23. Eucharist is a fitting place to give thanks, worship and praise to the Lord who is the giver of every good gift. (Click for more)
Dear Parishioners, The month of November gives us many things to reflect upon. As Fall transitions into Winter and nature falls asleep, we think about death. November is the month we pray for the souls of the dead, especially those of our family and friends (click for more)
Dear Parishioners, This Wednesday at the Faith Night adult formation class, I will begin a three-part study of gender ideology and how this is an offense against the dignity of the human person and the Creator, who has created us male and female. My goal will be first to establish some key tenets of this new gender ideology and what has been happening in society the last few decades. Then I will establish a Christian/Catholic response from Scripture and Church teaching and ways we can compassionately respond. The dates for Faith Night in November will be Nov. 8, Nov. 15, and Nov. 29. There will be no Faith Night on Wednesday, Nov. 22 for the Thanksgiving holiday. (Click for more)
