The theme for this year’s VBS at St. Mary’s (June 24—28) is "God’s Backyard Bible Camp: Under the Stars". The main focus will be on helping others, a theme that the children will learn from what Jesus Himself did for others during the nighttime. (A lot of what Jesus did for others took place during the day, but we forget about how much Jesus did at night, too.) We will soon make a supply list of items we will need for VBS; but for now, what we need are volunteers to help our VBS coordinators, Doreen Kenney and Sarah Haden.
