Religious Education Classes are open to Pre-K through 6th grade youth. We meet every 2nd and 4th Sunday at 8:45-9:45 am at St. Mary's School. Parents are encouraged to come and participate with their children. Lessons include Children's liturgy lesson, crafts, and sacrament preparation for those 2nd grade and older.
Holy Ghost Parish hosts a potluck breakfast after 8 am mass on the second Sunday of each month in the basement of the church. Please come and bring something to share!
Coffee and Donuts are served every Sunday at the St. Mary's Hall after the 10 am Mass in Chewelah. Please join us! Contact the office if you would like to help serve.
Beginning Sunday, Sept. 15th, we will begin our seven month long Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults course to prepare adults and high school students for reception into the Church or completion of the Sacraments of Initiation (First Communion, First Reconciliation, and Confirmation). The Ladies Auxiliary plans to meet after the 9:00 am mass on the second Friday of each month. Invite a friend! We will have a short meeting and complete a service project each time. The Knights of Columbus will be serving biscuits and gravy for the Tri-Parish Christmas Party. The Party will take place at St. Mary’s Parish Hall after 10 am mass next Sunday, Dec. 15th. It will be a fun time for the whole family. There will be Bingo after breakfast so make sure to bring a prize in a brown bag! We will also have kids crafts and activities, and Christmas musical entertainment.
