I am a late vocation seminarian for the Diocese of Spokane. I am excited to be working with all of you this summer! I look forward to spending time with you and getting to know all of you. I grew up in Columbia Falls, MT which is very much like the Chewelah area. I came to Spokane to attend college and never left. Upon graduating from Whitworth University, I began a career in education. I taught in both public and Catholic schools for 15 years. Then I changed directions and went into sales where I sold photocopiers and pharmaceuticals. For recreation, I enjoy bicycling, running, hiking, and skiing. I love to cook and sharing a glass of wine with good friends. Music is a passion for me as well. I sing and play a number of instruments. After a major life change, I began to sense God’s small still voice within me urging me to pursue priesthood. The last couple of years have been a whirlwind. I have left a successful sales career, sold almost all of my earthly belongings, and have entered St. Patrick’s Seminary in Menlo Park, CA. I will be starting my second year there in August. God’s faithfulness and love has never failed me. As you can imagine, I have had to place my whole trust in Him to make this transition. I hope to be able to use the strengths and skills I have to share the Word of God and to be Christ to those I encounter. To Christ be the Glory!
